With the end of the January transfer window fast approaching, speculation surrounding the Premier League’s biggest clubs is rife.
Chelsea are one of a number of top flight sides that are yet to make a signing so far this month, although the West London outfit did recall central defender Trevoh Chalobah from a loan spell at Crystal Palace.
The Blues have been linked with several platers so far this month, but it now appears that the recent poor form of Robert Sanchez could prompt Chelsea to move for a new goalkeeper.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes via GiveMeSport, The London side have identified Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki as a potential transfer target.
The report claims that Chelsea are continuing to expand their global scouting network and, in doing so, have been keeping tabs on the Japan international.
Suzuki, 22, joined Parma from Belgian side Sing-Truiden last summer, and has been hugely impressive during his debut season in Italy.

In total the ‘keeper has made 20 appearances across all competitions, keeping three clean sheets.
He has also been capped 16 times by Japan at senior international level.
The report claims that Chelsea’s scouting networks have identified the Japanese goalkeeper as a target, and the London side have made their interest known.
Suzuki is contracted to Serie A side Parma until the end of the 2028/29 campaign, having put pen-to-paper on a long-term deal when he joined the club last year.
Despite interest from Chelsea, the report claims that Parma are not willing to allow Suzuki to leave unless their £40 million valuation of the player is met.
Chelsea’s current first choice ‘keeper, Sanchez, has made a number of errors this season and has had his position as number oner questioned by fans and pundits alike.
The Blues also have Filip Jorgensen, who has primarily featured in cup competitions this term, while Kepa Arrizabalaga, Mike Penders and Djordje Petrovic are all out on loan.
