Google says it’s built the feature with “security at its core”

Google is now allowing users to use Quick Share with Apple’s AirDrop. With this support, those on Android can more easily file transfer with iPhone users.

Quick Share started rolling out last week to Pixel 10 devices, although it’s unclear if and when this will come to other Android devices.

Google adds that it’s built the feature with “security at its core” to protect data with “strong safeguards that were tested by independent security experts.”
