Rivals Day is just around the corner, and the Assemble Event is one of the in-game events created to celebrate / Image credit: NetEase Games
TL;DR
The Assemble Event is one of the events created to celebrate the first anniversary of Marvel Rivals.
The event requires players to invite others to join their crew and earn points by completing missions.
Players will also need to become crew members themselves and complete missions.
Some changes have been made since the event was released due to complaints about the pyramid structure and general confusion.
Players who complete the event will earn an emote and 600 Units.
The celebrations for the one-year anniversary of Marvel Rivals are well underway. NetEase Games has created several mini-events rolled into one large celebration where players can earn units, a free Legendary skin and various other goodies.
One of these events is the Assemble Event, which revolves around socialising and inviting friends to earn Units and an emote. We’re going to dive into everything you need to know about the Marvel Rivals Assemble Event, including how it works and the exact rewards that can be earned by participating.
What is the Marvel Rivals Assemble Event?

The Marvel Rivals Assemble Event is one part of the larger Rivals Day 2025 event, which celebrates the game’s first anniversary. Players need to assemble a crew of other players – be they friends or randoms – in order to earn Assemble Points. Earning Assemble Points allows players to unlock certain rewards without having to pay any real-life money. This is always a positive in free-to-play games, which are notorious for trying to squeeze every penny out of players.

The event is structured around socialising, as players can only form a crew and become their Captain to earn Assemble Points by inviting people to do so. Players can also join other crews, with the player who invited them becoming the Captain.
A crew is formed of up to five other players. To start forming a crew, you need to invite others by either typing their username and finding them or inputting a specific code that each player is given during the event.
To start inviting players, go to the Assemble screen and navigate to the right-hand side labelled “My Crew.” You will see five empty boxes with “+” signs inside. To invite someone, tap the “+” sign and enter the username or aforementioned code. This will send an invitation to the player. You can check whether an invitation is pending, has been declined, or has been accepted by looking at your invitation list (though players who have accepted will also automatically appear in the boxes). There are no restrictions on who can join a crew. Any account, either for new players or experienced ones, can join.

That being said, there are a few situations that can make it impossible to invite someone. If a player already has a Captain, they cannot join your crew. This was originally locked in for good, but it caused confusion, so NetEase changed the structure (more on that later). While you can invite five people, you can complete the Assemble Event in full with only three people by using a strategy that involves rotating between one another’s crews.
As a Captain, points are earned by collecting crew members, and when your crew members log in and play, but you don’t have to join up with your crew members and play together to do so. It can be tough to find players who aren’t already part of a crew. Try asking in match chat, or head over to the Times Square social hub to ask players if you are struggling to recruit crew members. Be sure to invite someone who will be playing the game so that you know you’ll be able to collect points. Crew members earn points by playing games, with a maximum of 200 points able to be earned when you join a team under a Captain and complete Member Missions.

The maximum amount of points that can be earned in the Assemble Event is 600, but to achieve this, you’ll need to be both a Captain and a crew member (though not necessarily at the same time). Rewards are unlocked for every 100 points earned. Check out the table below to see what you can earn in the event.

Marvel Rivals Assemble Event changes
As mentioned, the Assemble Event went through some changes after fan confusion and general negative feedback regarding the pyramid scheme-like structure. The permanent lock-in to a Captain made it difficult for players to progress. As a result, crew members will automatically leave once they have earned the maximum 200 points from Member Missions.
The login requirement mission was also changed. Originally, one of the Member Missions required players to log in for three days while the event ran. This was changed to two days, allowing players to earn the points and complete this mission more quickly.
Conclusion
That’s everything you need to know about the Marvel Rivals Assemble Event. It can be a bit confusing to know what you need to do to complete the event, so hopefully, our guide has provided some clarity, allowing you to start earning those points.
