The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to face the Cranes of Uganda in their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) Group C game tomorrow at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, Soccernet.ng reports.

The encounter holds opposing promises for both sides. While the Super Eagles of Nigeria have secured their spot in the next round of the AFCON 2025, Uganda have just a point from their opening two games.

Paul Put’s men are on the brink of exit, but a win against Eric Chelle’s Nigeria could see them claim a place in the Round of 16 as one of the best losers.

Form and Team News
Both teams enter this fixture on contrasting form. Nigeria defeated Tanzania and Tunisia in their previous AFCON Group C fixtures, while Uganda lost to Tunisia before their 1-1 draw against Tanzania two days ago, courtesy of a late Uche Ikpeazu strike.

Across their last five games, Uganda have lost three games, winning against Botswana during the October International break and then the draw against Tanzania.

For Nigeria, they’ve won three of their last five games. A loss to Egypt in a friendly just before AFCON 2025 kicked off and a 120-minute draw against DR Congo during the November International break soiled their streak.

There’s not much at stake for Eric Chelle’s men, but for Uganda, there’s all to play for. The Franco-Malian coach chose not to reveal if he’ll rotate players for the clash tomorrow evening.
