The Oppo Find X8 Mini, clearly inspired by the success of the vivo X200 Pro mini, is allegedly launching alongside the Find X8 Ultra in March or April, and so far the smaller device has been rumored to weigh between 180g and 189g.
Itās also repeatedly been said to be very thin, and today a new rumor out of China narrows down the range we can expect. Its thickness will start with a 7, apparently, so it will be between 7 mm and 7.99 mm thick. Thatās in the range of Samsungās Galaxy S25, which boasts 7.2 mm thickness, and makes the Find X8 Mini about 1 mm thinner than the aforementioned vivo X200 Pro mini.
Oppo Find X8
Sure, itās no Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge or iPhone 17 Air, but itās probably going to be thin enough for most people. Letās not forget that the phone is rumored to pack a 50 MP main rear camera with a 1/1.56ā³ sensor and OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP periscope camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
The Find X8 Mini should employ a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED flat screen with 1,216 x 2,640 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, and it will be powered by MediaTekās Dimensity 9400 SoC. OnePlus could be releasing a version of this phone under its own name in the coming months.
