From the chats, netizens noted that he blue-ticked the mother of his children most of the time. After being bashed for blue-ticking Bayo, Kanyari was forced to respond, explaining why he blue-ticked her.

“Betty Bayo died knowing I had a good heart. Not once did she ask me for money and I say I did not have it. I always told her I would send it. I never responded to her text messages because I responded with M-Pesa. I saw some people making an issue out of that. If she said the children need money, all I need to do is send it,” he said on November 23 during a Sunday service. How much did Kanyari pay for son’s fees? The Salvation Healing Ministry co-founder shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with Bayo asking him to clear their son’s fees balance.

Source: FacebookRelationship coach slams Kanyari for leaking private chatsRelationship coach and author Allan Lawrence weighed in on Kanyari’s behaviour, calling him out for leaking private chats with someone very close to him.

“Sharing personal chats they had with the deceased is more of violating her memory and dignity that she had built for a long time. Again, sharing her chats posthumously, you need to understand that the great lady cannot consent, so the pastor putting such communications should be weighed against respect of her legacy and also more trauma to the loved ones close to the deceased,” he told TUKO.co.ke.Lawrence opined that Kanyari was right to keep the records, but sharing in the public domain was uncalled for. He slammed him for sharing the chats, saying the people he is trying to justify to that he is a good father don’t care.

“This sends a signal of some level of narcissistic behaviour. Again, the chats are seen as being very defensive and very opportunistic, not just the guy being transparent, but again he is trying to prove the point to whom and why?. As much as in co-parenting arrangements it is very okay to keep records and statements but co-parenting highly values respect, discretion, maturity and trust but this behaviour of broadcasting them erodes trust with the kids and everyone around him in future he will have lots of damage control to do, to everyone reading this please lets learn and avoid such, As much as people do mourn differently but the act of leaking the communications may leave many to actually question his sincerity as it will be perceived as PR.The relationship coach further advised celebrities to keep their relationships off social media and not overshare stuff to justify their bad behaviours.

“At this point, a more balanced, respectful, mature communication and expression of his grief would likely serve him long term both for his public image and his children’s emotional being and in fact honour the legacy of his deceased ex-wife,” he said. Who will have custody of Betty Bayo’s children? In a separate story, Kanyari revealed that he had handed over the children to Tash, who is grieving his wife.

The city preacher claimed that during Bayo’s funeral, Tash used to ask him who would stay with the children, and he told him to have them.

Kanyari claimed that the children would help Tash heal faster, hence why he allowed him to take them.
