One of the greatest female fighters of all time wants in on the UFC Hall of Fame.
Over the last several years, we’ve seen UFC legend after legend get inducted to the Hall of Fame for their contributions to the sport.
Amanda Nunes, the women’s MMA ‘GOAT’, was one of the latest fighters to be honored during International Fight Week in June.
Of course, there are still many other stars that have yet to be added to the Hall of Fame, such as the greatest flyweight of all time, Demetrious Johnson.
The first woman to step into the UFC Octagon believes she should be included in that conversation.

Carmouche was one-half of the first women’s fight in UFC history against Ronda Rousey in 2013. More than a decade later, the 33-fight MMA veteran has world titles in Bellator MMA (defunct) and PFL.
‘Girlrilla’ brutally knocked out Jena Bishop a week ago to win the PFL flyweight tournament.
At 41 years old, Carmouche has now won 12 out of her last 13 fights since challenging Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC flyweight title in 2019.
“I have done a lot,” Carmouche told MMA Junkie’s Danny Segura.
“When you’re caught up in the moment of just trying to evolve as much as possible, prepare for fights, you kind of lose the perspective of some of the things you’ve accomplished.
“I’m big on not necessarily looking in the past. It’s in those conversations where I do and I go like, oh, holy crap, like maybe I should be in the UFC Hall of Fame or something like that.
“I certainly hope so,” Carmouche said of a potential spot for her in the UFC Hall of Fame.
“I would love if there was a UFC Hall of Fame I could be a part of. That would be really awesome. Again, just to add some more accolades into things I’ve accomplished,” Carmouche added.
There are only three women in the UFC Hall of FameCarmouche’s first UFC rival, inaugural women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in July 2018.
‘Rowdy’ is one of three women to get the honor.
Amanda Nunes, the woman who ended Rousey’s career by first-round knockout, made it to the UFC Hall of Fame earlier this year, along with Vitor Belfort, Mark Kerr, and Robbie Lawler.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk, arguably the greatest strawweight of all time, is among them.
